That said, I still think the blu-ray is a shit restoration job, and fans have been improving on it pretty much from day one. Natural colors are nice, but I think they're going a bit crazy, as the film stock from the 70's wasn't even capable of completely natural colors. Yes it's there, but it's only going to bother the most hardcore nit-pickers, which I frankly can't relate to, as the sharpness and clarity are so much more important in my opinion. So don't feel bad if you can't see it, it's not even a good comparison.
Yes, the colors on the blu-ray have been unnaturally boosted a bit, but it's completely overshadowed in these frames by the fact that the original print is so yellow and washed out.
